Guide to the HomeMarket residential operation
Homemarket, your online mini market
Homemarket is a digital shopping platform that lets licensed residents serve other residents of their own building in a simple, close-by and organised way.
How it works
4 steps, more convenience- 1
The licensee is a resident of the building.
- 2
They keep a few items inside their own home.
- 3
Orders are placed through the Homemarket app.
- 4
Once an order arrives, the licensee picks the products and delivers them to the neighbour.
What defines our operation
A residential, digital and organised operationThe unit keeps being used normally as a home.
There is no shop open to the public inside the apartment.
Customers never come in to pick or collect goods.
There is no counter, till, point of sale or in-person service.
No commercial structure is installed in common areas.
The operation happens digitally, simply and in an organised way.
Different from a physical mini market
More convenience, less impactHomemarket needs no space granted by the building and installs no shop, container, shelving, fridges, kiosks or points of sale in common areas.
100% online

Respect for the building's routine
Harmonious coexistence, alwaysNo customer traffic to the apartment.

No noise, odours or disturbance.
Security, access, quiet-hours and community rules are respected.
Restocking is done in a way compatible with the building's routine.
Building staff are never involved in the operation.
Our principle
Small actions, big benefitsHomemarket's goal is to let the licensee run a small-scale activity from their own home, preserving the residential use of the unit and offering neighbours one more convenient option.
Legal basis and building bylaws
Why there is no conflict with the building's rulesThe Homemarket operation is designed to fit within the residential use of the unit. Nothing changes in the apartment, the common areas or the building's routine — and that is what keeps it compatible with the bylaws and house rules.
The unit keeps its residential purpose
No public access, signage, shopfront, counter or commercial structure. The resident keeps living there; they simply store a few items at home, as any family does.
No common area is used or granted
No point of sale, stock, fridge, kiosk or container in lobbies, garages or halls. The building grants no space and takes on no obligation.
No customer traffic, no staff
Nobody enters the apartment to buy or collect. The resident delivers to the neighbour personally, and no building employee takes part in the operation.
Lighter than activities already common in buildings
Home offices, freelancers, private tutoring and app-based selling are already part of residential life. The Homemarket operation is even more discreet: digital orders, neighbour-to-neighbour delivery.
Peace, safety and health preserved
Building rules exist to protect residents' peace, safety and health. The operation creates no noise, no flow of strangers, no odours and no risk: orders are digital and deliveries are made by someone who already lives there.
The resident is accountable, not the building
The licensee operates in their own name and HomeMarket handles payments, receipts and buyer support. The building signs no contract, receives no money and takes on no responsibility for the operation.
You order in the app. Your neighbour picks and delivers.
We are not trying to turn apartments into physical shops. We use technology, proximity and local entrepreneurship to make residents' daily lives easier.
